A French tourist had the funny idea of taking a selfie with a crocodile and got bitten on the leg.
A French tourist was bitten by a crocodile during a visit to the Khao Yai National Parkto the north of BangkokThe animal's body was found to be in a state of shock when it tried to get too close to the animal to take a selfie.
She was bitten deeply in the leg, but her life is not in danger, she was quickly taken to a hospital.
A park official explained what had happened:
"She wanted to take a selfie with the crocodile that was lying in the stream. Surprised, it bit her on the leg.
At this point in the park there is a sign warning that a crocodile lives there and people can look at it from the platform - but I guess she wanted to see it up close.
Now they will have to add a sign:
"No selfies with crocodiles!
The Thai media published photos of the rangers carrying our compatriot on a stretcher, with a thick bandage around his knee:
