SE visa applicants can submit their application, pay the visa fee and receive their electronic visa without a sticker on the website: thaievisa.go.th without having to go to embassies or consulates general.

Once the SE visa application has been approved, a confirmation email will be sent to applicants.

The visa information will be linked to the immigration system.

However, it is recommended that travellers print a copy of the confirmation email to present to the airline and Thai immigration officials for screening when travelling to Thailand.

Please note that it is currently not possible to cross the border and re-enter Thailand for a visa extension.

For more information on the different categories of non-tourist visas, see Visas for Thailand: the different types.

To help you with your visa application, you can also use a specialist agency approved by the Royal Thai Embassy such as Visathaïlande.fr.
