Unusual: underwater weddings are organised every year in Trang province in southern Thailand.
During these weddings, the newlyweds, guided by a professional diver, exchange their vows by gestures and receive their marriage certificate in front of witnesses at a depth of 12 metres.
The Trang Underwater Wedding Festival is held from 12 to 14 February each year.
Hundreds of brides and grooms from many countries come to Southern Thailand for this unique event, with traditional Thai wedding ceremonies, lavish processions and beach parties, as well as an underwater declaration of wedding vows on Koh Kradan.
This underwater wedding will cost you 30,000 baht (about 827 euros), and a little more for accommodation, meals and diving lessons if you are new to diving.

Normally, in a Thai wedding, the guests pour oil on the hands of the bride and groom, but in this case, they had to invent a system that diffuses small beads under water.
