The 4 favourite activities of tourists in Thailand

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has conducted a survey of foreign travellers to find out their favourite activities in the Land of Smiles.

Eating from Thai foodto benefit from Thai massagesto go to the beach and visit historical sites are the most popular activities among foreign tourists, according to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).

The survey, conducted by the TAT, shows that :

90.75 % of them want to eat Thai food
48.23 % want to experience traditional Thai massages and spas
48.12 % prefer to go to the beach and enjoy sea-related activities
46.22 % prefer to visit sites of historical importance

Meanwhile, Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said that after the Covid-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Public Health has adopted medical tourism as a key way to generate revenue for the country and turn Thailand into a regional medical centre.
