Offering for the temple

Portraits of Thai people from different regions, of all ages and in everyday life.

They are not works of art, they are just to give a picture of life in the land of smiles.

Continuation of the gallery : Thai Slices 2, photos of Thai people

If you take the image of the Gauls as presented in the Asterix and Obelix albums and take away the brawling, just villagers who like to drink and eat well together and don't miss any opportunity to party, you are close to what life is like in the villages of Thailand.

In France, there is one day a year when we organize a big meal with our neighbours, but in Thailand, in the villages, it is very frequent.

To celebrate Buddhist festivals, weddings, funerals, births and parties organised by families just to "tam boun" a good deed.

If you live in a village, speak a little Thai and know the customs (the rules of good living)You will often be invited to these joyful parties (even if it's for a funeral!) and they are always accompanied by the music of the Carabao Group.
