The guide to what time shops, banks, restaurants, markets... open in Thailand?
The government offices are open Monday to Friday (except on public holidays) from 8.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. with a lunch break from 12 noon to 1 p.m.
Banks are open Monday to Friday (except on public holidays) from 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.
Commercial transactions are normally carried out from Monday to Friday between 8.00 am and 5.00 pm.
Most department stores are open daily from 10 am to 10 pm.
There are day markets and night markets, so you'll have no trouble finding one that's open, some are active almost all the time!
And in some, open at night, you can eat delicious food all night long.
Handy if you want to eat a rice soup after a drunken evening.

There are Seven-eleven shops all over the country, where you can find most of the useful products, food, hygiene, medicine... and they are open 24 hours a day.
The restaurants are open all day, and there are many night restaurants.
In the worst case, if you are hungry at night, you can also find good hot food (hamburger, fried rice, soups...) in the Seven Eleven.
