When to go to Koh Phangan: the weather from December to February

This is the best time to visit the island and it is also the high tourist season.

So it's best to book accommodation if you're going at this time.

Temperatures can still be warm, but there is also occasional rain, mainly in December to cool things down a bit!

When to go to Koh Phangan: the weather from March to June

This is the warm season, it can be really hot and there is little or no rain.

The high season is over, the island is quieter and the hotels are cheaper.

When to go to Koh Phangan: the weather from July to September

It is the beginning of the rainy season.

It is still hot but with refreshing rain.

This is a good time to visit the island, without too many tourists and with cooler temperatures.

When to go to Koh Phangan: the weather from October to November

It is the rainy season, with thunderstorms, but interspersed with sunshine.

The weather is still warm and you can have beautiful days.

Be careful if you go swimming when it is cloudy, as there may be jellyfish.

They come to the surface when the sky is cloudy.
