How much does a foreigner working in Thailand earn?

The Thailand Board of Investment has a comprehensive website listing key jobs and expected salaries in the Land of Smiles.

The web page also lists years of experience, penalties, public holidays, overtime and redundancy payments.

An interpreter with less than 5 years experience can earn between 25,000 and 70,000 baht per month.

A secretary with less than 5 years experience: between 35 and 45,000 baht

An accountant with five years experience can earn up to 80,000 baht per month.

A computer programmer, with more than 5 years experience, up to 75,000 per month.
