A sport imported to Thailand by the Queen Mother

It was the Queen Mother who discovered and fell in love with the sport in Switzerland in the 1970s.

The Queen Mother then introduced the game to her relatives on her return to Thailand and the passion for the game spread throughout the country.

Today, it is the 2nd most practiced sport in Thailand, it is even supported by the government and is taught in schools.

In France, it is mainly men and elderly people who play it and mainly in the south of the country, but in Thailand the sport is practiced everywhere, at any age and women also like to play it!
